We are getting ready for our October ride. It is going to be October 14th at Hawk Pride towards Florence. We will be joining Bama Offroad group. This is a great park with plenty of trails for any level Jeeper. Hope to see everyone out there.

Post up here letting us know you will be there.

Sorry I forgot to follow up. They did fit. It just like anything I had to make sure and get every bolt started before tightening anything.
They definitely gave me a ton of room. I now have to figure out something for the liners. I like them a lot though.

The only ones I know of that don't require greasing are the OEM ones.  They went with a plastic that holds the ball in place instead of a metal casing.  That's why you don't need grease.  It's also why they fail under heavier loads.
Yeah I knew they were plastic that's why I'm also looking at full metal so (hopefully) they won't fail in the future.

If there's another option that doesn't require greasing, I didn't find it when I was doing my ball joint research.
That is why I wanted to ask. I know some people have done a lot of research prior to the swap.

I grease mine while the oil drains...probably not as often as you're supposed to.
Haha that would be every 7500 miles for me. I'll have to check it out. I have some other things that need to be greased. Maybe it won't be a big issue. Do you have to leave the zerk fitting in place while you drive or take it in and out?

I went with Teraflex due to their lifetime warranty, but looking at their product page it doesn't say anything about it anymore.  Not sure if it's still a thing or not.  Without it I'd personally recommend going with Synergy or Crown.  Not enough to justify the extra expense without the warranty.

What do you mean by maintenance free?

The lack of lifetime warranty is possibly a deal breaker. That was a leading reason to go with these.

I know it's a long shot but I would like to have teraflex quality without having to grease them. With that being said I'm not entirely sure how often you have to grease them anyway. I was looking at synergy also along with the Alloy USA ball joints on extreme terrain.

I have been looking at ball joints lately since I am about to do sleeves and gussets and wanted to get some input from everyone else.
I have been looking at the Teraflex HD joints but would like some that are maintenance free.

Thoughts? Comments? Recommendations?

Ok Jared,   after yesterday's dust ride we cleaned Smalls inside and out. I know it's too late for the challenge but just wanted to show you we can clean our Jeeps.

Haha that's great. :) thanks for letting me know I was starting to think I was one of the only ones that wash my jeep. Although it's been a while since I've washed mine.

I didn't bring my jeep but went out and rode with everyone from the group that went. It was a great event and I definitely had a great time. I look forward to having my jeep out at this event this time.

I know it's bad ju-ju to wash it...but she is so pretty when she's clean!  It was washed yesterday.
Oh man looks like we have a winner. That's a great looking jeep also.

Now it's up to you for the next challenge.

Kk tomorrow I have to drop off Smalls at Landers for Derek to check out. They normally give it through dime wash. I will get a pic and post.  Will that count Jared?

Counts to me. I didn't say who had to clean it. Haha.
